Irish makeup artist Aimee Connolly, the brand's creator, has greatly increased the company's reach far beyond the Emerald Isle and it's very easy to see why. Sculpted by Aimee is producing high-quality cosmetics that rival those of industry giants like Charlotte Tilbury.

At home, we can shop Sculpted by Aimee's products in her flagship Grafton Street Store, a boutique in Kildare Village, Dublin Airport, and most recently at Cork Airport. It is also stocked in Dunnes Stores, Boots, and pharmacies nationwide. Heading North, you will find Sculpted by Aimee in Victoria Square, Belfast, and just across the river, you will find the UK Flagship Store on Carnaby Street in London. I had the pleasure of being at the Carnaby store's opening, and I think it is fantastic that an Irish retailer is situated next to established brands like Too Faced, Benefit, and Mac in the heart of London. The brand's popularity is continuing to grow and shows no sign of slowing down.

Susie O'Neill, an Irish makeup artist, founded Ayu Cosmetics. Given that the brand just debuted its first permanent location in Cork's Mahon Point Shopping Centre, you might already be familiar with its offerings. After my visit to the store, I can easily understand why it is now a cult favourite amongst Irish women.The highly pigmented and incredibly lightweight "Instant Under Eye Concealer" by Ayu, winner of numerous awards, is a great addition to any cosmetic bag. Ella and Jo was founded by Niamh Ryan and Charlene Flanagan. Both ladies are experts in their respective fields, and their Skincare brand produces high quality products that are designed and created in Ireland. Ella and Jo merge natural and active ingredients for effective, eco-conscious skincare. I believe that the brands "Melt the Day Away Cleansing Balm" is one of their best products; it's an oil cleanser that leaves the skin feeling nourished and revitalised by removing all traces of oil, grime, and makeup.
