Benefit Brows - My Brow Collection

Eyebrows are the one thing you can get into shape without exercising! Here is my review of Benefit’s very well known Brow Range!

Ka-Brow! €27.50

Benefit’s Ka-Brow is an Eyebrow Cream-Gel Brow Colour that also comes with a mini angled brush. This product is great if you love very sculpted or defined brows. The formula promises 24 hour, waterproof wear. It is available in 8 different shades.

How to Apply?

Using the supplied brush or a brush of your choice dip into the product, I then recommend wiping the sides of the brush off a tissue as this will give you a more sharp, precise application. For a natural look I recommend starting from the arch-tail and then with the remaining product using a light hand create light brush strokes towards the front. This method will give you a beautiful ombre effect.

Gimme Brow €27.50

Gimme Brow is a tinted eyebrow Eyebrow Gel that comes in 10 different colours. The Gel contains tiny microfibres that adhere to the skin and hairs, creating natural looking fullness and definition. It promises to volumise, tame and tint your brows as well as being long wearing and water resistant. Personally, I like to use Gimme Brow layered on top of an Eyebrow Powder to set the hairs and give me a long lasting hold for the day. The applicator is small and deposits just the right amount of product. It perfectly keeps your brows in place for the day without looking too overdone

How to Apply?

It’s super quick and easy to apply, simply stroke the mini mascara type wand through the brows, brushing them in the direction you want your brows to set in.

Goof-Proof Brow Pencil €27.50

Goof-Proof Brow Pencil features a custom retractable tip, that doesn’t require any sharpeners. It deposits a soft amount of colour onto the brow which is perfect for allowing you to fill in any sparse areas. It comes in 12 shades. The formula promises a 12 hour, waterproof wear and can be used in conjunction with any of the other brow products mentioned. It’s very buildable and I like that it isn’t too soft or creamy. For me, I believe the harder it is for a brow pencil to draw on, the longer it will be before it comes off. It comes with a spoolie on one side which is perfect for brushing through the brows and gently diffusing the product for a more natural look.

How to Apply?

The Goof Proof Brow Pencil pointed side of the tip is perfect to fill in any sparse areas or to draw on some additional hairs. The wider end of the tip is perfect for adding some additional colour. You can use the spoolie to brush through afterwards for a more natural look.

High Brow €24

High Brow is a creamy brow Highlighter. It comes in one shade which is described as a linen pink, for a natural looking, matte finish. This product is great for anyone who likes a defined look or who likes to use concealer underneath their brow to sharpen up your line or correct any mistakes. It’s helps to give a more lifted look. It can also be used to disguise any stray hairs. I also love using this pencil in the inner corner of my eye and inside the lower waterline.

How to Apply?

Using the pencil trace along the underneath of your brow for a more sharp, defined look. Personally, I use it more from the arch to the tail of my brow.

Brow Zings €35

My Favourite! In the Brow Zing’s kit you will get a brow powder, a brow wax, a mini tweezers and an applicator brush. It’s available in 6 different shades. For me, I use the wax from arch to tale and the powder from front to the arch for a more ombre, natural finish. Using a Brow Powder is my favourite way to fill in my brows. I find this one to be very long wearing and the product will last you ages! The compact has a mirror inside so its perfect to use on the go!

How to Apply?

I like to use angled brush to apply this product. As I mentioned, I use the powder from the start of the brow to the arch and the wax from the arch to the tail. Using the tweezer provided you then tweeze away any strays
