Charlotte says: "Inspired by airbrushed, flawlessly filtered images of Tinseltown starlets, the magic wands are your shortcut to Hollywood perfection. Delivered in an ultra-convenient ‘wand’ with an innovative cushion applicator to dispense product evenly, this is a sure-fire shortcut to a supermodel complexion". Beauty Light Wand - Spotlight €40Charlotte says: "Darlings, my Hollywood Beauty Light Wand is a dreamy rose gold highlighter inspired by the digitally-remastered tricks of Hollywood & the flawless filters of social media" What makes it Magic?
My Opinion? This highlighter is absolutely stunning! It looks like candlelight on your skin, not glittery or over the top, just a beautiful natural glow. I use this almost everyday and find it quick and easy to use. It's sheer but buildable and I go between blending with my fingers, brushes and a sponge. Being pale, it can be a struggle to find a highlighting shade that's not too golden and obvious and this is a perfect option for that. Though I've never experienced any problems with it, I've heard others complain that the packaging is confusing. All you have to do is twist the cap, dispense a tiny amount of product, then twist it back again! You normally have enough product in the sponge to last for a few applications, so you shouldn't need to do this every time. How to Apply? To use, apply the highlighter wand on your cheekbones, down the centre of your nose, in the inner corners of your eyes & browbone, then blend. Beauty Light Wand - Pinkgasm €40Charlotte says: "I call these my red carpet diva lights - they play with the light and make you look instantly glowing and gorgeous" For a gorgeous, glowing highlight-blush, Glowgasm Beauty Light Wand in Pinkgasm adds a kiss of rosy pink colour to your cheeks and is inspired by the beautifying effects of fun! It plays with the light beautifully, for a soft-focused glow that bathes you in beauty light and joy! If you loved Charlotte’s Hollywood Beauty Light Wand, you will LOVE the Glowgasm Beauty Light Wands! What makes it Magic?
My Opinion? This is one of Charlotte's most popular products and when you try it, it's very easy to understand why. Regularly sold out, the shade "Pinkgasm" is a beautiful pink shimmer with flecks of gold running through it. I tend to set it with a powder blusher on top, but this is a personal preference and not essential. As with most cream products, it's best to start with a small amount and build to your desired finish. Especially if it is your first time using a cream and are possibly unsure of how strong the pay-off may be. I've also used this as an eye base for the "Pillow Talk" and "Mesmerising Maroon" Palettes, and it can also be used on the lips, if desired. It dried down well, maintaining luminosity but avoiding that tacky uncomfortable feeling I will definitely be repurchasing after my current one runs out. The colour may look intense at first but it blends out really well, so start with a little and work up to build the colour to the intensity you prefer. I blend it out with the "Hollywood Complexion" brush as I don't want it to loose it's pay off in a sponge. How to Apply? Apply to the apples of your cheeks using the cushion applicator on the wand, then blend! Hollywood Contour Wand - Light €40Charlotte says: Darlings, my Hollywood Contour Wand in Light to Medium is the perfect lightweight, blendable, buildable formula to create a well-contoured face. What makes it Magic?
My Opinion? The Hollywood Contour Wand comes in two shades:
All of these cream creams are buildable, so you can apply multiple layers without it becoming cakey or dry. I wouldn't grab for this for everyday use like I would with highlighter and blusher, I guess this is because I'm more of a bronzer lover than a contourer, but I would use it for evenings out and events to achieve that more sculpted, defined appearance. How to Apply?

Hi Aly, I would also be quite pale and it works for me. The swatch above is just the products true form without blending so it definitely sheers out and isn't as dark once you blend it. If it helps I'm a shade 1N1 in double wear, shade 2 in sculpted by Aimee and around an NC15 in Mac. If you are around the same it should be ok! x

Let me know how you get on! Shade 2 in Estee would even be a bit too dark for my natural colour so id say the contour should suit you well x Leave a Reply. |
